Election day. We shall vote. We shall decide. We shall skinny. Let’s do this.
Today is the day. All 435 House seats are up for grabs. 36 Senate seats are up for grabs. 36 Governor’s mansions are up for grabs. The Republicans are favored to take over control in the Senate and maintain control in the House, which would give us a nice new dosage of gridlock in Washington.

We’ve got another Ferguson-ish situation going on in Utah County. It doesn’t have the protesting, but it has the white-cops-shot-and-killed-a-black-guy-claiming-he-lunged-at-officers-while-his-family-claims-he-was-running-away thing.
Prosecutors say Darrien Hunt lunged at officers with a samurai sword and was promptly shot to death. Hunt’s family says he was shot several times while running away. The family’s attorney says an independent autopsy shows Hunt was shot from behind.
The Utah County Attorney’s Office has ruled the shooting justified.

In oil news, Saudi Arabia is cutting oil prices to the U.S. consumer in an attempt to gain back some significant market share. This is great for us, as the U.S. will counter, producing a price war that will only help us out at the pump. Love it.

Go vote, folks. Get involved. Be important. Have a day.
