Rory McIlroy is hot. He is the No. 1-ranked player in the world. He’s won the last 2 major championships, the 2014 British Open and PGA Championship, and has finished first or second in his last seven European Tour events.
Today, he kicks off his 2015 PGA Tour season at the Honda Classic in Florida. It didn’t start well.

Rory begins his PGA Tour season with a double after a lost ball off the tee. +2 #HondaClassic

Ouch. The good news is he made par on his second ball and parred the second hole. The leaders through the morning wave are just -4, as gusty winds are making PGA National play very difficult.
Rory won here in 2012 and lost in a playoff in 2014, so expect him to turn it around.
Update, 2:03 pET
Rory now +4 thru 5. He doubled one, parred two, parred three, birdied four, doubled five. Shaky start. Shocking, really.
