Graham DeLaet Bitches At Patrick Reed On Twitter for Withdrawing After Firing 81

The PGA Tour is battling through vicious conditions at Torrey Pines this weekend. Yesterday, the field’s average score was over 78. Yes, 78, which is 6-over par.

Patrick Reed, the rumpus American, shot an 81 then withdrew citing an ankle injury. One of Reed’s playing partners, Canadian Graham DeLaet — like millions of high school ex girlfriends before him — took to social media to broadcast his disappointment.

I CAN’T STAND when Tour pros do this type of thing. Why does DeLaet possibly care that Reed won’t be there? It’s not like it’s a three-man team event and Reed is leaving his playing partners hanging. It’s an individual stroke play event. Reed not being there has no effect on DeLaet. Literally. None. Yet he immediately reaches for twitter to take a shot at Reed? What a loser.

This guy gets it:

If DeLaet has one legitimate complaint it’s that, because they’ll be a twosome playing behind a bunch of threesomes, their pace will be slow. An easy solution? Walk a little slower and enjoy some of the most beautiful views on the planet. A horrible solution? Take to twitter and cry like an emotionally volatile adolescent.
